The fishing remains good for some and tough for others.  As you can see in the photos if you have your deep fish program in tune you can have a nice catch of adult kings.  Meat rigs took all the fish with 1 exception a plug fish.  We fished the flats 1575 southline to 2325 northline in 120' to 135' of water.  We turned at 2325 line and went to 160' to 175' of water and trolled south, finishing the box off.  We fished the marks with no reguard to the tempertures.

Good Luck

The lake humbled the Capt today.  We fished many different waters today.  We had 13 good hookups and took only 6 of those fish.  Most all our action was on plugs, rotators & flys.  Its very odvious in the photo you don't want to fish in my location.

Good Luck

The fishing was good for some.  The cold water has the fish on the beach and out to 330' of water.  We fished 180' to 275' of water.  The glow plugs on 1/2 leads and 1/2 coppers were good.  The divers back 90' to 150' with glow plugs were good.  The riggers grabed a few fish from 50' down to 100' down, later in the morning.  The later bite had a few kings hitting meat riggs with rotators.  Our best water was 1425 northline down to 1150 southline.  Watch for those surface temp breaks.

Good Luck

The fishing in Manistee remains very good.  The kings are here in good numbers as you can see in the photo.  Meat rigs on wire diver back 120' to 190'.  The kings were hitting glow spoons early 50' to 90' down  over 90' to 160' of water.  Our best water was 1520 northline down to 1250 southline.

Manistee fishing remains GREAT!  Adult kings, a couple of steelhead and a coho.  All the fish were taken straight out, 1620 north and south to 1460.  The mag glow spoons on riggers 50' to 70' down and divers back 120' to 150'.  We fished over the 110' to 185' of water.  For some reason our leads & coppers were dead.
Good Luck

Manistee fishing remains very good with catches of big adult kings, a couple of coho, 5 steelhead and 2 lake trout thrown in.  July has been nothing short of incredible fishingLaughing  All the action in 70' to 210" of water fishing down 30' to 80' with mag glow spoons and a couple meat riggs in late morning.  The divers had good action with mag spoons and late morning the meat riggs paid off big.  My best water was 1350 north line south to 1175 line.

Good Luck

The Capt.
